ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University was founded in 2009 by Vatan Health and Education Foundation (VASEV). Our university had 10 Undergraduate Departments (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Health Sciences, Law, Communication, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Science and Literature, Fine Arts), 2 Associate Degree Departments (Vocational School, Vocational School of Health Services). and 3 Institutes (Institute of Science and Technology, Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Health Sciences) on the year it was established. In Faculty of Dentistry Halıcıoğlu Campus, Faculty of Medicine Gaziosmanpaşa Campus and Cevizlibağ Campuses, a total of 8,805 students continue their education and training with 420 academic and 199 administrative staff. Student may have the opportunity to take double diplomas by participating in Double Major programs other than the Department or Faculty they attend, by fulfilling the required conditions. Starting from the academic year of 2017-2018, the same opportunity is applied for the students of Vocational School and Vocational School of Health Services. Our students can obtain a specialization certificate in a second field by participating in the "Minor" program, which gives specialization in another department or program by fulfilling the required conditions. Our university has received Erasmus Charter in its first year of establishment. Therefore, our students have the opportunity to study one or two semesters in 46 countries in Europe under the Erasmus Program. Similarly, our academicians and administrative staff can also represent our university and our country abroad at the international level by this program, for giving lectures and exchanging information. These increasingly increasing numbers of countries and universities can be seen in detail on the ERASMUS pages of our website.
