ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Ufuk University was established by Turkey Traffic Accidents Relief Foundation on December 18, 1999 and initiated to education and training activities on 2002-2003 academic year. The founder of University, Turkey Traffic Accidents Relief Foundation was established in 1972. In the Foundation Act, preventing traffic, work, sports and other accidents, disasters and providing emergency, medical and social assistance, rehabilitation services for injuries and diseases as a result of these, educating all kinds of staff required, by opening schools including Higher Education Institutions to cooperate on these issues, provision of necessary tools and equipment, provision of training courses and seminars and other scientific activities has been foreseen to provide education, research and services on the subjects such as cooperation with the relevant institutions. Our main ideas in opening the university are to determine the preventive, preventive and therapeutic principles and methods against the accident, disaster, physical and mental problems in the main frame of the Foundation Act, especially our society; It is aimed to direct relations and behaviors between state institutions and individuals and to educate competent personnel in these subjects. For this purpose, Faculty and Departments of Medicine, Law, Education, Science-Literature (Statistics – Psychology), Economic and Administrative Sciences (Business, Political Science and International Relations-International trade) and complementary Nursing College, Vocational School of Health Services and Institutes have been established in our foundation law.
